Group Visits (reservations required)
Pick a pumpkin, play with our friendly farm animals, explore the Old Apple Orchard, and learn about where your food comes from. This isn't your standard pumpkin patch visit...
About the field trip:
This field trip is suitable for all ages. Groups will tour the farm with one of our enthusiastic and knowledgeable instructors. Through touching, tasting, smelling, and seeing, our farm educators will ground classroom learning as we explore the farm environment. Tell us what you're learning in school and we will tailor your visit to your learning objectives.
2 Programs to choose from...
60 minute tour and a pumpkin
The tour takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes and will finish with the children picking their own pumpkin from our field.
FARM TOUR & COB OVEN BAKING
2 hour tour with baking and a pumpkin
After the farm tour, the children will get to bake in our cob oven (each child makes their own pizza, apple turnover, loaf, or pumpkin bake) and finish with picking their own pumpkin from our field.

Explore a magical farming oasis in the city. Relax, hang out. Grab a book in the Potting Shed Lounge Library, or play in the Straw Pile; Meet the goats, sheep, chickens, chicks, and horses. Pick a pumpkin from our Old Apple Orchard and sit by the fire.
Some of our pumpkins are grown on site and some we pick up from our friend's farm (Westham Island Herb Farm). The Pumpkins have already been harvested and are spread around the orchard for easy choosing.
Please feel free to pitch in! Pick up a rake or manure fork and help us in our daily tasks. Just ask a Farmer what needs doing.
