Spring Break & Summer Camps
You'll soon realise that one week is not enough when it comes to spending time at Southlands Farm! So what about saying at night? Shhhh...When the farm goes quiet, you might have the chance to hear the frogs singing in the pond, to feed dinner to the animals or to roast marshmallows on a camp fire! Mmmhh! We might even see the owls flying around! For one night, you will experience the real life of living on a farm together with your friends from the camp! And in the morning, you'll wake up with the rooster crowing and the horses playing!
What will we do?
6h30: Set up of sleeping area – arrive after having had dinner.
Until 7h30: Free time/flexible programing to be decided with the group and educator.
7h30 to 9h30: Camp fire and roasting marshmallows!
9h30: Quiet time
10h30: Bed time
7h00am to 7h30: Morning Farm Chores.
7h30 to 8h30: Breakfast
9h: Back to camp!
What do you need to bring?
WARM sleeping bag and camping mattress
WARM sweater for the evening
Headlamp or flashlight, good book
Water bottle and extra snack
Snack for camp on Friday - and lunch if you're staying for lunch
Optional: bug repellant, games, instruments…
What does the farm provide?
Oat mill, cinnamon, honey, seasonal fruits and mint tea for breakfast
Preschool summer camps runs Tuesday to Thursday each week from 9:30am to 11:30am. We offer Pony or Farm themed preschool camps. Kids will get dirty, explore the farm and touch, smell, taste, or experience so many aspects of the farm!
