Earn credit towards lessons, farm programs, or food by working with horses or on the farm!
If you are an adult or if you are 12 years or older, we welcome you to improve your farm and horsemanship skills and work towards becoming a Credit Earning Apprentice! If in the future you want to own your own homestead or farm, become a riding instructor, or be hired as a full time Farmer at Southlands, becoming an apprentice is a fun way to surround yourself with like-minded people and progress towards that goal.
As a Credit Earning Apprentice, you will work in the barn or on the farm with the animals, plants, and soil or as an educator. You will be paid in ‘credit’ that you can use for any of Southlands Farm’s programs, food, or the advanced workshops we offer.
